QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What is your photography style?

My style is very natural, candid, and photojournalistic. I want to document EVERYTHING about your day, including all the little details that you've been working on for so long, because chances are, you won't have time to enjoy them yourself!

During your portraits, I do everything in my power to help you feel comfortable and confident in from of the camera. I have special cues and commands to get you interacting and having FUN, and I'll be there to capture it.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

I take great pride in editing your photos, and I want them to be perfect the first time you see them. You will receive hundreds of photos that I personally edit one-by-one to remove any distracting elements and make you look your best.

For this reason, it takes me about 6-8 weeks to complete a wedding. If I ever finish early, you can be sure that I will send them your way as soon as they're done!

Will we receive our digital images and have printing rights?

Yes! Your images will be delivered in a beautiful online gallery for you to download, share, and order prints. You have the ability to print wherever you'd like, however, I highly recommend that you order prints through me and my professional printing lab, so that you receive the highest quality photos.

Do you have insurance?

YES!

What type of equipment do you use?

I use top-of-the-line professional Nikon gear. I shoot with two camera bodies and use a pretty bad-a** holster to carry them. I have many different premium lenses that I use throughout the day to get really wide shots as well as a long telephoto to get those special moments such as the exchange of your rings.

Do you have backup equipment?

Of course! I shoot with 2 camera bodies and even have a 3rd camera as backup. Each camera has two slots for memory cards, so everything I shoot is already backed up in case anything goes wrong with one of my SD cards.

Do you use flash?

Yes! I love natural light and will always prefer to shoot with whatever ambient light is available, but I LOVE using flash as well! During your reception, I use flashes both on and off my camera to capture multi-dimensional photos of you and your guests while you dance the night away.

I love your photos and your style, and we're ready to book! What should we do?

Shoot me an email through my contact form, or give me a call! The first step is to see if I have your date available, then we can chat to see if we're the right fit for each other.

Once you decide that I'm the right photographer for you, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due with a signed contract to officially book your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

How soon before our wedding should we book with you?

As soon as possible! My calendar fills up very quickly! There are only 4 weekends in a month, and I only book one wedding per weekend to make sure that I am fresh and in tip-top shape for your big day!

I am currently booking 2018 and 2019 weddings!

Should we add a second shooter to our package?

It's totally up to you! I only really recommend having a second shooter if you have a very large guest list of 200+ or if you have multiple locations where we'll be shooting. A second photographer is typically needed for around 5 hours in these cases.

How does the album credit work?

It is extremely important to me for you to physically hold your images in your hand rather than have to view them on a computer screen. It is an entirely different experience!

Couples tend to spend around $1500 for a beautiful layflat wedding album. You may use your album credit for any size album and pay the difference! Your credit is available for up to 1 year.
