Kate and Sam’s Gambrill State Park Engagement was quite the adventure! They had shown me some gorgeous photos of another engagement session at this very park with a really cool creek/waterfall. I got there early to explore and try to find the spot myself. After searching and searching, I couldn’t find it. The park was absolutely covered in gorgeous ferns, which I LOVE but was also terrified of ticks and spiders, haha! If you live on the east coast, you probably know 5-10 people who have had/have lyme disease, so this fear is REAL, my friends!!!
When the two arrived, we started shooting, and the bugs were out. of. control! There must have been 1,000 gnats flying around their heads in each picture! Thank goodness for photoshop! We searched high and low for some type of creek or body of water to no avail, but it didn’t matter, because of the beautiful waist-high ferns and gorgeous sunlight shining through the trees. Loved working with these two, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!!!
